DALLAS, Nov. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America and the first U.S.-based intercity bus company to operate domestic service within Mexico, today announced that its daily departures between Mexico and Texas now offers direct service. This will provide comfort and convenience to customers, allowing them to travel on one bus throughout their journey instead of requiring them to transfer.
Routes with daily direct service include the following, with options to connect to hundreds of other destinations in Mexico with Greyhound's partner carriers:
Customers from Monterrey can enjoy Greyhound's newly built terminal which offers a clean, open and secure environment with amenities such as free Wi-Fi, charging stations and ample free parking, making it easy for passengers to be picked up or dropped off by family members and friends. The Monterrey terminal is also conveniently located in front of the Metro light rail line that connects to downtown Monterrey. For those traveling from Texas, pickup in Dallas is available from the downtown and Westmoreland terminals, while the Houston service picks up from the downtown and Harrisburg terminals.
Greyhound's Mexico service offers new buses with safety features such as three-point seatbelts at every seat, found throughout its entire fleet. Other onboard modern amenities include free Wi-Fi, power outlets, leather seats, guaranteed seating, extra legroom, footrests and restrooms.
Offering the lowest priced tickets found for these routes, customers can buy their tickets at the terminal, or for additional savings, purchase tickets from Greyhound's website, www.greyhound.com for exclusive web-only fares, including some as low as $1. Online purchasers can enjoy the convenience of printing their ticket at home, or picking it up at the terminal, and know a guaranteed seat is waiting for them. All tickets are nonrefundable.
