Greyhound Announces Fare Sale: 20 Percent Off Tickets Purchased During Labor Day Weekend
DALLAS, Sept. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Greyhound, the largest intercity bus company in North America, today announced a fare sale that gives customers 20 percent off their fare on trips to any of Greyhound's 3,800 destinations. Between Sept. 1 – 5, customers get the discount on future travel by simply using the promo code LOW16 when they book on Greyhound.com. Greyhound will also offer a free beverage to customers traveling Labor Day weekend.
"We're happy to offer customers a reward for traveling with us, whether that be discounted travel on our already low fares or a free refreshing drink to enjoy before or after their trip," said Andy Kaplinsky, chief commercial officer, Greyhound Lines, Inc.
Trips must be booked by Sept. 5 for travel between Sept. 6 – Nov. 15 to take advantage of the discount. Customers may book their trip on popular routes such as Tallahassee, Fla. to Orlando, Fla. with prices starting as low as $14, or Columbus, Ohio to Indianapolis with prices starting as low as $15.
Customers traveling this weekend can enjoy a free beverage right before boarding the bus at their originating location or when they arrive at their destination. Between Sept. 2 – 5, customers can simply stop by participating station restaurants, show their ticket to receive a free small coffee or 20 oz. fountain drink. Free beverages are limited to one per person.
Fare discounts are applied to the full fare. Tickets are valid only on the date and schedule for which they were purchased. To purchase tickets, customers can visit www.greyhound.com or call 1-800-231-2222. Customers can choose to receive more special offers like this one simply by enrolling in Greyhound's Road Rewards loyalty program and opting in to receive emails.
