America's favorite comic signs as new face for nation's largest buffet-grill chain
RALEIGH, N.C., June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden Corral®, the nation's largest grill-buffet chain, announces a partnership with America's beloved comedian, Jeff Foxworthy. Foxworthy, known for his clean, family-friendly humor, will kick off his role as spokesperson in a series of lighthearted commercials for the restaurant chain's new Breakfast for Lunch & Dinner promotion.
"Jeff Foxworthy's family-friendly humor and authenticity aligns perfectly with our brand and he will put a fun face on our new Golden Bill of Rights campaign," said Golden Corral Vice President of Advertising and Insights Donna Mercer.
In response to increased consumer demand for breakfast at all hours, Golden Corral will serve breakfast for lunch and dinner. All of the chain's 500 restaurants nationwide will serve breakfast favorites alongside its traditional lunch and dinner buffet dishes. The promotion is planned for the summer months when families have more time to enjoy weekday meals together.
Foxworthy will appear in a new series of fun, patriotic commercials as part of the national advertising campaign to promote Golden Corral's Breakfast for Lunch & Dinner from The VIA Agency in Portland, Maine. The campaign centers around the freedom of diners to feast on fresh foods at an affordable price and the right to eat meals out of order, by having breakfast foods for lunch and dinner. The first commercial spot can be seen here.
