Global demand for visual engagement technology drives enterprise customer acquisition and organic growth for Boston-area company
BOSTON, May 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Glance Networks today announced strong worldwide growth through 2015 and Q1 of 2016. Glance Network's global sales increased 38 percent year over year compared with the same period the previous year, driven by global demand for effective visual engagement solutions across the finance, cloud computing and healthcare sectors. The company witnessed strong growth in top international markets including Canada, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain, and Australia.
Glance Networks' cobrowse and screen-sharing solutions provide the means to instantly clarify conversations between agents and customers, resulting in a positive impact on sales, support, services and overall customer experience. Glance has also provisioned more than 40,000 new seats with enterprise customers that are realizing an improved customer experience through Glance, including Generation Tux, Pearson Education, Honeywell, MarketLink, Lord Abbett and Thompson Reuters.
"We're winning business for our technical innovation, but companies are also hiring us for our deep knowledge of how to make it work," said Tom Martin, Glance Networks CEO. "Our customers depend on us to empower them to quickly gain the maximum benefits from their visual engagement solutions."
Additionally, Glance established new partnerships with SAP, Moxie, Interactive Intelligence, and Genesys, to extend their platforms, to provide partners a competitive edge and deliver more value in an increasingly customer-centric market. Glance Networks has strengthened its relationship with Salesforce, broadening its capabilities and becoming more tightly integrated with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Communities.
During the past year, Glance Networks has also continued to expand its capabilities and bolster its infrastructure to ensure it continues to be highly scalable in order to support global and dynamic enterprise clients. Glance is also strengthening the security of its solutions with such features as role-based permissions, field masking, and SAML/SSO integration.
Glance's Panorama received the 2016 CUSTOMER Magazine Product of the Year Award. Panorama is a next-generation cobrowse solution that enables agents and customers to see what they are talking about. The platform empowers sales, support, and service agents to visually collaborate with their customers – while masking any sensitive data from view.
"Our cobrowse solution from Glance Networks has reduced the time our team spends on support by 30 percent and at the same time dramatically improved our customer satisfaction scores. Customers love it because it improves their overall experience and allows them to receive personalized, real-time help from the comfort of home," VP of Fortune 1000 financial institution.
"Glance Networks has experienced rapid growth over the past year, expanding our customer success, engineering, sales, and marketing teams," said Martin. "Of particular note are the growing resources we are developing to effectively onboard and support our customers' success over time. We're excited to have a new look and feel for our brand and are updating our office space to continue to stay ahead of the curve."
The company also received a new patent, bringing the total number of approved patents that Glance holds to seven. These patents are currently being applied in different areas of the Glance offering. In addition, two new patent applications were filed this year by Glance Networks in the cobrowse space.
