Global Blood Therapeutics Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., June 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Blood Therapeutics, Inc. (GBT) (NASDAQ: GBT), a biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapeutics for the treatment of grievous blood-based disorders with significant unmet needs, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 6,400,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $18.75 per share, before underwriting discounts. In addition, the underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 960,000 shares of common stock on the same terms and conditions.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Cowen and Company, LLC and Wedbush PacGrow are acting as co-managers. The offering is expected to close on or about June 24, 2016, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
