Glam Media Hires Ryan Stern as Vice President to Launch Glam Social Communities
Five Years After Pioneering the First Blog Network and Vertical Media, Glam to Create an All-New Social Community Platform for Authors

(www.GlamMedia.com), the number one vertical media company with the largest global reach for women online, today announced that Ryan Stern, the former Vice President of Publishing at FoodBuzz and Federated Media, has been appointed to run Glam Social Communities.
Stern brings a wealth of content and community development experience to Glam Media, specializing in the creation and management of highly engaged social communities. She led publishing and vertical communities at FoodBuzz, as Vice President of Publishing, and was responsible for developing content and advertising relationships with over 4,500 bloggers. Additionally she was responsible for driving the social and community marketing platform for Brand marketers to connect with passionate foodies. In this role, Stern was responsible for the aggregation, curation, and distribution of more than 3.5 million food-related content posts from the blogosphere.
Stern's appointment will continue the growth and momentum that has moved Glam into the comScore top 10 US web properties, and created the largest reachable social content audience for women. Glam has over 2,000 publishers and bloggers creating content and driving social conversations daily, and has appointed Stern to help create a new platform, launch new vertical channels, and create innovative ways for Brand advertisers to sponsor and participate in the most passionate consumer communities on the Internet.

Stern, will report to Jennifer Salant, recently appointed Senior Vice President, Glam Publisher Network and Business Development.
