NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Jackie Ghedine has been promoted to associate publisher of Advertising Age, Ad Age Publisher Allison Arden announced today. She previously was the brand's managing director of sales.

As associate publisher, Ghedine will continue to lead the overall sales operation, but have an increased focus on laying the groundwork for new business areas including research, custom content and events.
She joined Advertising Age in a sales position in February 2003 where she handled many of the publishing and television accounts. After a few years in sales, Ghedine moved into the national sales manager role at Advertising Age and continued to ascend on the sales management side.
Prior to joining Advertising Age, Jackie worked at Hoyt Publishing Company for their two publications focused on in-store marketing and the importance of the retailer/marketer relationship. Throughout her tenure at Hoyt Publishing, she held the positions of associate publisher of POP Times and then publisher of POP Design.
Ghedine is a graduate of Hofstra University and is a member of Advertising Women of New York.
