Game Insight Expands With $5+ Million Investment In Instant Games, Plans 8 Games On Facebook Messenger
Tribez Rush available now, 7 more games to come
VILNIUS, Lithuania, Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- To coincide with the launch of Instant Games on Facebook Messenger and Facebook News Feed, Game Insight has announced the launch of Tribez Rush for the platform, with seven more games currently in production. Today's announcement is the result of an investment of over $5 million by Game Insight in a new division focused on Instant Games, and represents the company's latest expansion into new and emerging platforms. Game Insight's division focused on Instant Games will build new experiences around the casual, midcore, and hardcore brands that Game Insight's players already know and love, while also showcasing Game Insight's existing catalog to new players.
"Game Insight has made sizable investments in new technologies and existing brands over the last year, which has helped us make an early entry onto Instant Games," said Anatoly Ropotov, Game Insight CEO. "We have always been among the first to support new platforms so that we can offer the most enjoyable games on the most exciting platforms."
Leading the company's first Instant Games is Tribez Rush, the first match-3 game set in the world of Game Insight's most popular brand, The Tribez. Players will acquire prehistoric pets and nurture their natural skills as they match foodstuffs in this lightning fast, speed-focused twist on match-3 gameplay.
In addition to the investment in a division focused on Instant Games, Game Insight has also acquired Alis Games, creators of the critically-acclaimed Need a Hero game. The next game in the series, Need a Hero: Puzzle Rush, will be Game Insight's second offering on Instant Games. Need a Hero: Puzzle Rush takes the series' gem-busting action and evolves it with time-based play, hidden rows, and more.
"Facebook, like Game Insight, has always placed tremendous importance on connecting with gamers wherever they are," added Ropotov. "And it's becoming increasingly clear that the future of messaging apps is about much more than just chat and video. Messaging apps are a platform now; a blank canvas with a billion users waiting to see what comes next. Instant Games expands that canvas even further, allowing for a wide range of gameplay experiences built from the ground up for the new consumption paradigm, and reachable in an instant."
Details of Game Insight's seven additional Instant Games will be revealed in the coming months. For more information on the complete Game Insight library, and to stay apprised of the latest happenings in Game Insight's new division, please visit: facebook.com/gameinsight.
