ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Feb. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gal Pal Friday (GPF) is a unique new concept in the field of personal entertaining and assistance.  The company specializes in assisting their clients with dinner parties, special gatherings, wine and beer pairings, travel planning, personal shopping, gift wrapping, and holiday decor and has officially launched their services in the greater Orange and Los Angeles Counties.

The concept evolved in Summer 2010 when GPF's founder, Sophia Paliov, was planning her own barbeque bash while holding down a full time job and taking care of an ill parent.  She found the stress of having to do it all herself was overwhelming and was taking the joy out of the experience.  Not wanting to ask for help, she desperately wished she could hire an assistant for a couple of hours a day to lend a hand with mailing invitations, purchasing groceries and obtaining decorations; a situation that would require little exertion but running the errands and overseeing the effort.

Sophia realized that there must be individuals, such as business men and women, working parents, and couples planning their own weddings, for example, who need that extra assistance in executing their parties, dinners or more.
