LOS ANGELES, July 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to the increased demands on public education leaders across California, the full-service education law firm of Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost (F3) has recruited attorneys to various offices across the state. With the relocation of Partner Jennifer Rowe-Gonzalez to the firm's Fresno office and the addition of attorneys Cynthia Vargas, Brittany Armstrong, Meg Keaney and James Traber, F3 is poised to better serve California's education leaders.
A former special education teacher with the Mount Diablo Unified School District, Ms. Rowe-Gonzalez is respected statewide for her cost-conscious and student-focused approaches to student-related legal matters. The arrival of Ms. Rowe-Gonzalez coincides with the relocation of F3's Fresno office to 7108 North Fresno Street, Suite 270, Fresno, CA 93720.
Ms. Vargas joins F3's Inland Empire and San Diego Offices in a senior associate position. In addition to her special education legal practice, Ms. Vargas, a former special education teacher, often provides counsel and services both at the school site and administrative levels.
"We are delighted to share Ms. Vargas' expertise with districts throughout the state," said Special Education Practice Group Leader and San Diego Office Managing Partner Jonathan Read, himself a former teacher.
F3's Oakland office recently welcomed Brittany Armstrong and Meg Keaney, both of whom bring their personal involvement with social equity and community activism to serving the state's diverse public school population. James Traber, practicing from the firm's Sacramento office, lends his facilities and human resources experience to clients statewide. All active members of the firm's eMatters Practice Group, these attorneys' practices are informed by issues stemming from technology in today's education environment.
