Frank Santora of Hudson City Savings Bank Receives MetricStream "GRC Journey Visionary Award"

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Frank Santora, First VP and Head of Operational, IT, and Vendor Risk at Hudson City Savings Bank (HCSB) won the MetricStream "GRC Journey Visionary Award" for his role in driving an industry-leading Enterprise GRC program at Hudson City Savings Bank.
The first-ever MetricStream GRC Journey Awards were presented at the MetricStream GRC Summit 2015, held at the Ritz Carlton Pentagon City in Washington D.C. from May 11-13, 2015. The event featured three days of keynotes, panel sessions, and customer case studies, and brought together over 350 CEOs, Board Directors, executives, consultants, and analysts from around the world to discuss the latest trends and insights in GRC.
The MetricStream GRC Journey Awards were instituted to recognize outstanding GRC contributions made by individuals and teams to their organizations and industries. The winners were selected by an independent awards committee, chaired by French Caldwell, Chief Evangelist at MetricStream.
The awards were broadly categorized into three categories; Partner Awards which were given to MetricStream partners, Visionary Awards which were given to individuals; and GRC Journey Awards which were given to MetricStream customer organizations. The awards were presented during an Awards ceremony on the evening of May 12th by MetricStream Executive Chairman, Gunjan Sinha and MetricStream Chief Executive Officer, Shellye Archambeau.
The Visionary Awards category recognized individuals who have establish successful and industry-leading GRC programs. They are recognized for their GRC vision, their role in leading their organization's GRC implementation, and their ability to bring together different stakeholders from across the organization against shared objectives. These visionary individuals have also contributed to GRC thought leadership in their industry by sharing their insights at industry events and forums, as well as media publications and journals.
Frank Santora, First VP and Head of Operational, IT, and Vendor Risk at Hudson City Savings Bank (HCSB), has been driving the Enterprise GRC program at HCSB supported by MetricStream, since 2012. HCSB is New Jersey's largest thrift bank, and Frank Santora leads GRC initiatives across the bank. He has worked closely with MetricStream to help HCSB realize the vision of "Pervasive GRC." As a result, the bank is now able to identify and assess risks in a more integrated and cohesive manner.
