F.N.B. Corporation Enhances Pennsylvania Operations with Acquisition of Five Branches
PITTSBURGH, May 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- F.N.B. Corporation (NYSE: FNB), parent company of First National Bank of Pennsylvania, entered into a purchase and assumption agreement to acquire approximately $280 million in deposits and five branch-banking locations in Pennsylvania from Bank of America, including two branches in Berks County, two branches in Lancaster County and one branch in Chester County.

"In addition to acquiring deposits to support our growth needs, these branches will be additive to our 220 locations across the state and will enable our regionally-based product specialists in wealth, insurance and banking to compete more effectively in these counties."
The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2015, subject to regulatory review and approval, and FNB intends to retain all employees at these locations. Customers of the acquired branches will receive information regarding the transfer of their accounts in the next few months.
