FMCS Statement on Labor Negotiations Between the ILWU and Pacific Northwest Grain Handlers
WASHINGTON, July 9, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service issued the following statement today on the labor negotiations between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and Pacific Northwest grain handlers:
"Negotiators for the Grain Group and the ILWU met on July 8 and 9 under the auspices of the FMCS. Negotiations have recessed and bargaining is expected to resume in the near future."
