Florida Gets a Taste of Fenway Park: Kayem Named Official Hot Dog and Sausage of JetBlue Park at Fenway South
Kayem Fenway Franks and Sausage Served at Red Sox Spring Training Games
CHELSEA, Mass., March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boston Red Sox aren't the only ones down south for Spring Training. Kayem Foods, Inc., the official frank and sausage of the Boston Red Sox, announced today a new multi-year sponsorship and licensing agreement to distribute Kayem Fenway Franks and Sausage at JetBlue Park at Fenway South, the new Spring Training home of the Boston Red Sox in Lee County, Florida. The deal makes Kayem the official brand of franks and sausage of JetBlue Park.
Fans at JetBlue Park at Fenway South can now enjoy the same quality Kayem Fenway Franks and deliciously-seasoned Kayem Italian Sausage as the ones served at Fenway Park in Boston at all Red Sox Spring Training games. Kayem Fenway Franks at JetBlue Park feature the same authentic all-beef recipe served at Fenway Park, while Kayem Italian Sausage features Kayem's lightly seasoned, proprietary pork recipe. Both offer a unique blend of spices for a distinct bolder flavor. The plump and juicy franks and sausage have no fillers, no MSG and are gluten free.
"The Red Sox are thrilled to strengthen our partnership with Kayem, one of the country's most successful hot dog and sausage manufacturers, to offer Fenway Franks at JetBlue Park," said Sam Kennedy, Red Sox Executive Vice President/COO, for the Boston Red Sox. "The brand new ballpark, complete with the iconic 'Green Monster' and manual scoreboard, would not be complete without its equally iconic Fenway Franks. The park was designed with taste in mind, something Kayem has been providing to sports fans for more than 100 years."
"As the official frank and sausage of the Boston Red Sox since 2009, it was an obvious move for Kayem to head south with the team for Spring Training," said Bob Kufferman, Kayem Senior Brand Manager. "We are committed to delivering top-quality, delicious franks and sausage that will enhance the fan experience at JetBlue Park."
