First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale Changes Worship Times, Giving Congregants More Opportunities to Worship
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To give its congregants more time and opportunities for Sunday worship, First Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale will reschedule its contemporary and traditional services starting Sunday, April 27.

The Sunday worship services will be 9:30 a.m. for contemporary worship and 11 a.m. for traditional worship. In September, a second traditional worship service at 8:30 a.m. will be added.
"With Sunday school and children's activities at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. now, congregants can attend Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and traditional worship at 11:00 a.m. or vice versa, or attend both contemporary and traditional worship services," said Rev. Dr. Russ Ritchel, Jr.
"The new worship schedule will provide more opportunities for congregants to worship and participate in Sunday school and children's activities, and will position our church for continued growth," he added.
