First-ever Hedge Fund Marketing Video Goes Viral in Finance Community
MONTEREY, Calif., Dec. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Topturn Capital recently became the first hedge fund to launch a broad-based marketing video, following the overturn of a longstanding ban on marketing to the general public.
Almost instantly, the video has seen tremendous growth. 6,000 people watched the marketing pitch in four days, easily surpassing any other traditional hedge fund "marketing deck's" reach.
As a "first mover" in this new marketing space, the video received mixed reactions. While some suggested it lacks sufficient detail, Topturn co-founder Dan Darchuck reminded those in the hedge fund and private equity industries that they're now operating in an entirely new market environment.
