First New Restaurant Opening Since 2006 Set for Long Island in Spring 2014

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill has rekindled its edgy positioning in casual dining. And now, the company is focused on igniting growth – with a plan to open new restaurants throughout the country. This week, Smokey Bones announces its first new restaurant opening since 2006 – to be located on Long Island in Bay Shore, New York. Smokey Bones' 66^th restaurant (all company owned and operated) is set to fire up its grill in spring 2014.

The new 8,100-square-foot restaurant will feature the "New Look" of Smokey Bones and will be its second on Long Island, with a location currently in Ronkonkoma, New York. This new restaurant is part of a major renovation at Westfield South Shore Mall, and will be located next to Macy's. With a 365 guest seating capacity, this location will feature two open-air patio areas, along with newly designed, modernized brand elements throughout the restaurant.
