Topics include compliance reporting structure, incentives and compliance, effective compliance training, working with the board, legal advice and privilege, risk assessments, and more
MINNEAPOLIS, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- More than 80 compliance best practices videos are now available for viewing on the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) website, the association announced today. The videos, most of which run under one minute, provide answers from seasoned compliance experts to questions on topics ranging from social media use, working with the board of directors, risk assessments, attorney-client privilege, and certification value, to combating stress and burnout.
"The compliance profession is a highly stressful one, but it has one key asset: the willingness of compliance professionals to help each other out," said HCCA CEO Roy Snell. "In these videos leaders of the compliance community are demonstrating that willingness by providing short, simple answers to many of the challenging issues their peers are facing each day."
Compliance programs and the professionals that managed these programs play a critical role in today's health care organizations. The Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) has created this free resource of videos to assist compliance professionals in their work with the varied constituents in their organizations. They may be used by the compliance professional to spark a discussion and address a particular problem or to underscore a certain policy.
