NEW YORK, Feb. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- BEAT THE BOMB, the first-of-its-kind, high-tech and immersive paint bomb entertainment experience, hosted a gender reveal for Today Show's Sheinelle Jones' sister this weekend—and it's a girl. The New York City-based escape room with a twist is engineered to provide players a live, interactive and colorful gaming experience. Beyond BEAT THE BOMB's general admission, the venue hosts a variety of events, including birthdays parties, corporate team-building events, and family and school outings—it even hosted the NBA's Brooklyn Nets.
BEAT THE BOMB is the world's first multi-room, cooperative live-gaming challenge known for its series of digital games, funky hazmat gear, color-blasting paint finale, and the resulting socially shareable content. Players participate in a series of high-tech multiplayer games to earn time on the clock to defuse a paint bomb. The five games are, at its core, team building exercises that test for intelligence, communication, speed and stealth. Teams of two to six players work together to 'beat the bomb' and save themselves from the signature paint bomb's explosive ending.
"We created an interactive adventure using innovative technology and the best elements from escape rooms, immersive theater and the special effects industry, to construct an entirely new and innovative experiential concept," explained BEAT THE BOMB Founder Alexander Patterson. "It's a place for teams to 'have a blast' by getting competitive with this fun, colorful experience that creates lasting and socially-sharable memories—just like Sheinelle Jones experienced with her family, as she discussed with Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker on the Today Show."
BEAT THE BOMB's tech-focused, experiential entertainment retail concept has experienced explosive growth, and plans to expand its physical footprint nationally with new locations planned for 2019.
