Evangelical Leaders Come to Israel on Friendship Visit
JERUSALEM, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- America's most prominent evangelical leaders were in Israel last week meeting with the top leaders of the nation on a special mission, arranged by Dr. Mike Evans - founder of the friends of Zion Heritage Center.
The group met with Prime Minister Netanyahu and reaffirmed their support for the state of Israel. Netanyahu acknowledged his "inspiring friendship" with Dr. Evans and then thanked the group for their support, stating: "We have no better friends in the world and I mean that. It's not just a matter of speech. It is a partnership that goes back centuries."
In December, President Donald Trump received the Friends of Zion Award from Dr. Mike Evans and the leaders on the trip who delivered 36% of the vote, in the Oval Office at an event attended by Vice President Pence, Senior Advisors Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump and faith leaders representing over 150 million Christians globally.
Dr. Evans told the Prime Minister: "There are only two men in the world that unite the evangelicals of America: Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, leaders with moral clarity". The group also met Ambassador Friedman, Mayor Barkat, and Minister Levin, expressing their support. Cissie Graham, granddaughter of the late Billy Graham, pledged to the Prime Minister to work with millennials to educate her generation to love Israel as much as she does.
Netanyahu stated that: "Other countries with Christian friends of Israel should move their embassies to Jerusalem." Evans has committed to present the award to every world leader who pledged to move their embassy to Jerusalem and has been mobilizing his 35 million followers to influence world leaders to stand with Israel and Jewish people and recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The Friends of Zion Museum is actively involved in these historic declarations, including a massive international campaign, which supports President Trump and President Morales for their historic recognition of Jerusalem.
Evans has blanketed Jerusalem with more billboards than anyone with a 4 story digital billboard, over 110 billboards, buses, and even camels with the slogan stating "Thank you President Trump you're making Israel Greater" and "God Bless Trump from Jerusalem, DC (David's Capital) to Washington, DC".
Dr. Evans declared that: "Trump has built an historic alliance for the State of Israel and the Jewish people, and no president has courageously stood up for the State of Israel on the global stage. President Trump's historic recognition of Jerusalem will secure his place in history as the first American president to take that step since the founding of the State of Israel in 1948."
President Trump's historic declaration regarding Jerusalem takes its place as one of Israel's historic milestones from the Balfour Declaration to President Truman's acceptance of Israel into the family of nations. These heroes presented in the Friends of Zion Museum in Jerusalem tell the stories characters throughout history that have stood by the Jewish people and helped establish the State of Israel. The actions of these non-Jewish Zionists are engraved in history and millions of people worldwide have learned of their heroism thanks to the groundbreaking work of Dr. Evans and the Friends of Zion Museum.
The Friends of Zion Heritage Center, a 100 million dollar campus, has become one of the central institutions in the State of Israel influencing the world and strengthening Israel's relations globally while fortifying the pillars of the State of Israel.
