Estate planning attorney Michael P. Witzke joins the Detroit office of McDonald Hopkins

DETROIT, Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Accomplished estate planning attorney Michael P. Witzke has joined the Detroit office of McDonald Hopkins as a member in the firm's Private Client Department.

Witzke comes to the business advisory and advocacy law firm with 25 years of experience practicing in the areas of estate and gift tax planning, financial planning, retirement planning, charitable giving, elder law, and business planning. He was previously with Witzke, Berry, Carter & Wander, PLLC as well as Butzel Long.

Witzke earned his J.D. from Wayne State University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University. He is past president and past board member of the Financial Planning Association of Michigan, a member of the board of directors for Leadership Oakland, and a member of the planned giving advisory committees of Wayne State University and the Community House in Birmingham.
