EOIR Technologies Named 1 of 12 Primes on $3B DS TAT Contract

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EOIR Technologies, Inc., a portfolio company of The White Oak Group, was awarded a prime contractor spot on the $3 billion Defense Systems Technical Area Tasks (DS TAT) contract. Under this contract, EOIR was awarded a small business set aside for the directed energy competition and will be competing for task orders within that domain.

Mark Coleman, VP of EOIR's Electromagnetic Warfare Directorate, made the announcement. "Over the past two decades the electromagnetic spectrum has become an integral part of military operations on par with land, sea, air, and space warfighting domains," said Coleman. "The DS TATs win is an important capture for EOIR as we continue to expand our portfolio within the directed energy community with the goal of supporting our Warfighters and keeping the U.S. at the forefront of this frontier."

The Department of Defense (DoD) Information Analysis Centers (IACs), administered by the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), operate this portfolio of task order contracts for technical research and analysis. Any federal agency that has the need can make purchases using the contract. EOIR is one of a dozen awardees that will bid on the various task orders of this contract over the next 5 years.
