Emerald Greens Condo Resort Announces Shamrock Open Supporting Voices for Children of Tampa Bay

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Emerald Greens Condo Resort, a luxury 50 room resort, has announced their 1st Annual Shamrock Open benefiting Voices for Children of Tampa Bay (VFC), which will be held on Monday, March 10.

The tournament will take place at the Carrollwood Country Club, which offers a recently enhanced 27-hole golf course. Registration opens at 8:00AM with a shotgun start at 9:00AM. In addition to the tournament, players can compete for the longest drive and closest to the pin while enjoying green beer in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day. At the close of the tournament, lunch will be provided and prizes awarded. Raffles and mulligans will be available for purchase in which all proceeds will be donated to VFC.

VFC was founded in 1986 and is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a voice on behalf of abused and neglected children in Hillsborough County's court system by supporting volunteers in the Guardian ad Litem program. VFC provides volunteers with the resources and financial means necessary to continue the vital service they give these children.
