Ella Robinson Joins DKC's Growing Entertainment Department As Senior Vice President
Former VP of National Publicity for Relativity Media Based out of DKC's NYC Office
NEW YORK, Aug. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DKC Public Relations, Marketing & Government Affairs today announced the appointment of Ella Robinson as Senior Vice President in the agency's Entertainment group. Based out of DKC's New York City office, Ella will report to Joe Quenqua, Director of Entertainment in the agency's LA office.
A veteran of Warner Bros. and DreamWorks, Ella was most recently Vice President of National Publicity at Relativity Media, overseeing all East Coast operations and working on campaigns for films including Limitless, Immortals, Act of Valor and Safe Haven. In addition to the agency's growing film business, Ella will work across DKC's entire entertainment portfolio including music, television, stage and digital content.

Prior to joining Relativity Media, Ella was Director of National Publicity for Overture Films, a division of Liberty Media, where she built up the New York office for the newly formed studio. Previously, she worked at Warner Bros. Pictures, where she handled publicity for numerous high profile films as well as DreamWorks, SKG/DreamWorks Animation, SKG. Other publicity campaigns have included Don Jon, The Visitor, Capitalism: A Love Story, I am Legend, The Departed, Shrek 2 and Anchorman, The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
Since Quenqua took the reins of the entertainment group last year, DKC has handled major campaigns for The Walt Disney Company, Stage Entertainment, The Weinstein Company, Relativity Media, NBC/Universal, Capitol Records and SONY Music Entertainment, among others. DKC's diverse entertainment portfolio also includes Vuguru, Marvel Entertainment, Fandango, The Wendy Williams Show, Clive Davis, Real Time with Bill Maher and Sean Combs, among others. This coming season, DKC is handling campaigns for the launch of Netflix's first original adult animated series, BoJack Horseman (starring Will Arnett and Aaron Paul), and the syndicated debut of Judge Faith, both produced by Michael Eisner's The Tornante Company, as well as two new shows debuting on Nickelodeon, Henry Danger from producer Dan Schneider and Ricky, Nicky, Dicky & Dawn. DKC has also recently been retained by the National Board of Review in advance of their annual Film Awards Gala in 2015
Ella is the co-chair of Family Equality Council's 'The Outspoken Generation' program, which launched in 2012 and empowers children of LGBTQ parents to share their stories and better their communities.
