Electronic Transactions Association Announces 90% of Floor Space Sold for 2013 Annual Meeting and Expo
Payments and Mobile Technology Industries Ready to Do Business at ETA in New Orleans
WASHINGTON, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), the trade association of the global electronic payments industry, today announced that floor space for the 2013 ETA Annual Meeting and Expo is 90-percent sold. The 2013 ETA Annual Meeting and Expo, the nation's largest payments industry trade show, takes place in New Orleans from April 30 to May 2, 2013. ETA has greatly expanded the 2013 Expo over last year, expanding the floor to 150,000 square feet. This will be the largest show in ETA's 23-year history.
As new exhibitors continue to sign up for scarce show floor space, ETA also announced that payments technology innovator PayPal has increased its exhibit space six fold, making its exhibit the largest on the show's 150,000-square-foot exhibit floor. PayPal is also sponsoring the keynote address from David W. Nelms, Chairman and CEO of Discover Financial Services. More than 200 marquee brands from across the payments and technology industry will unveil their latest innovations on the show floor, including VISA, Inc., AT&T, Discover Network, MasterCard Worldwide, Wells Fargo, China Union Pay, Global Payments Inc., VeriFone, Inc., First Data, Ingenico North America, ISIS and NPC, A Vantiv Company.
