Eight eHealthcare Internet Awards Won by Four Leading Hospitals For Online Brand Management Excellence
DENVER, Dec. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Brand asset management is an important business strategy that is complex and challenging for most organizations, and the surge in content and ever-increasing number of touchpoints shows no signs of abating.
Many hospitals and health care systems struggle with this surge, while others employ ineffective, stopgap solutions, which leads to inconsistent brand implementation and time to market delays.
But New-York Presbyterian, CHRISTUS Health, Yale-New Haven Health, and Catholic Health Initiatives have all been recently awarded eHealthcare Leadership Awards for exceptional brand asset management at the Eighteenth Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. The awards recognize outstanding websites and digital communications in the health care industry.
"The demands of healthcare reform and an increasingly competitive environment have accelerated digital innovation," says Mark Gothberg, eHealthcare Leadership Awards chairman. "Organizations have made major improvements in their websites, expanded use of social media, and are employing mobile applications to engage current and prospective customers and enhance quality and operational efficiency."
This year's judging panel was made up of 114 individuals who have intimate knowledge of healthcare and the specific standards of internet excellence by which eHealthcare Leadership Awards measure greatness. They compared how websites and other digital communications measure up with others in their organization's classification. Entry scores were based on a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence.
