Ed Tech Leader First In Math® Receives Best of Show Award at ISTE 2015
Online Math Program Distinguished as Game Changer by Tech & Learning
PHILADELPHIA, July 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The largest and most interactive tech event in the world, ISTE's (International Society for Technology and Education) July conference hosted nearly 21,000 attendees and 550 exhibitors from 76 nations. More than 1,300 booths offered upward of 1,000 learning opportunities for students and adults. First In Math was selected for the prestigious Best of Show at ISTE 2015 award among some of the most elite educational products from around the globe.
Winners were selected by an anonymous panel of educators, who scoured the exhibit hall floor during the conference. The judges evaluated criteria such as quality, effectiveness, ease of use, and creative use of technology. They then examined which technologies could have the most impact in the classroom and deserved to be named Best of Show.
"Best of Show focuses on the potential of tech — which are the game changers?" says Tech & Learning Content Director, Kevin Hogan. "The award spotlights products and services that show the greatest promise according to the country's most tech-savvy educators."
The First In Math online program harnesses the power of digital gaming to help children build math skills. Significant results can be achieved in just minutes a day using Deep Practice techniques to replace old habits with new, productive methods—driving success across every academic arena. As students embrace learning at the classroom level they forge a bond with one another, and become more capable critical thinkers.
"When children become skilled at math they activate their own power to connect the dots across a variety of subjects on many different levels," says First in Math CEO Robert Sun. "My greatest hope is that First In Math will serve as a tool to help create a new generation of thinkers."
