CLEVELAND, July 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Dutch Boy® Paints, an industry leader in innovative, high-quality paint products, has ranked third overall out of the twelve other paint and stain brands in the interior and exterior paint segments of the J.D. Power 2017 Paint Satisfaction StudySM. The annual study measures customers' satisfaction across six key factors including (listed in alphabetical order): application, design guides, durability, price, product offerings and warranty/guarantee. Among these, Dutch Boy achieved the second highest score in the design guides and price factors.
Unveiled in 2015, Dutch Boy paint introduced a fresh, revitalized new look, voice and cutting-edge in-store and online experiences designed to inspire and make it easier than ever for consumers to shop for paint. Infused with a fresh spirit and sense of adventure, Dutch Boy's new website, collateral and color palettes were first introduced at a key retailer of the brand, Menards.
The in-store color shopping experience was completely revamped to meet the creative needs of each consumer, from the novice looking for fast, simple solutions to the design-driven consumer searching for guided inspiration and extensive color palettes. The color display showcases the brands full range of 1,340 on-trend colors and exclusive palettes that help to empower consumers to find and express their personal style. QR code technology was used in collateral pieces, to connect the in-store experience to the Dutch Boy website. In addition to the websites revamped look and user-friendly navigation, the online experience offers inspirational and educational how-to videos, as well as a re-engineered mobile-friendly Color Visualizer that is more interactive and intuitive than before.
Additionally, Dutch Boy's high-quality paints provide excellent value for their customers. Dutch Boy paint offers a number of products for various projects that deliver the durability and high performance consumers expect, at a price that isn't. Dutch Boy's products are packaged in their easy to use award-winning Twist & Pour® container design, with its built-in spout – designed to help simplify the painting process.
"We couldn't be more pleased that consumers are responding well to our durable, quality products and our in-store and online brand experience," said Michelle Bangs, Dutch Boy Brand Manager. "It's a testament to the tremendous efforts of the team to refresh our brand without losing our heritage and provide our customers with helpful materials to bring their vision to life at an affordable price."
