Dr. Tracey Lacey to Lead New Undergraduate Studies Division at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology

LOS ANGELES, June 20, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP), the leading nonprofit graduate school devoted exclusively to psychology and related behavioral and health sciences, has launched an Undergraduate Studies Division, led by Executive Director Tracey Lacey, Ph.D. Under Dr. Lacey's direction, the new division's first undergraduate program is TCSPP's online Bachelor of Arts Completion Program in Psychology, announced earlier this year.

The Chicago School's Undergraduate Studies Division will support TCSPP's new and existing degree programs in the areas of undergraduate health and psychology, including the management of department operations and academic programs, and overall programs performance; launching new programs and initiatives; managing faculty and establishing metrics for success, among other responsibilities.

Dr. Lacey comes to The Chicago School from Strayer University (VA) where she rose from Campus Dean to Senior Vice Provost in a span of nine years. Her accomplishments at Strayer range from increased retention rates and enrollment from articulation agreements, to expanding full-time faculty across 53 campuses within a specified region. Additional experience includes faculty and marketing positions at Capella University (MN), DeKalb County Schools (GA) and IBM in Atlanta. Dr. Lacey received her Ph.D. in Education from Capella University; an M.S. in Management from Southern Polytechnic State University (GA); and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Education from the University of Georgia in Athens.

Applications are currently being accepted for TCSPP's Bachelor of Arts Completion Program in Psychology, led by Program Director Brandy Blount, Ph.D., that provides community college graduates and working adults the opportunity to complete their education in psychology via a flexible online program that does not interfere with employment or family commitments while addressing today's competitive employment market where the Bachelor of Arts degree has become a necessity rather than an option.
