Doug O'Reilly Joins MWW Group as Vice President, Director of Insights and Research

O'Reilly will help spearhead the growth of MWW Group's research practice and guide the expansion of its active listening and insight development capabilities. His team will build new methodologies and tools that support all of MWW Group's practice areas and add value to its clients by delivering insight into how online and offline dialogues develop to create trust, relevancy and action in key stakeholder groups.

In his new role at MWW Group, O'Reilly will combine the use of these new tools with his two decades of classic market research experience and training to continuously mine ongoing conversations and outcomes for insight into the drivers of performance across consumer markets, government affairs, healthcare, corporate and financial communications, among many other areas.
Prior to joining MWW Group, O'Reilly worked independently as owner and consultant at Maypopp LLC on research, social media and community building strategies for companies including Katalyst Films, Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, and Saatchi & Saatchi. Previously, O'Reilly served as vice president, strategic planning and research at SHVO, and formally led the marketing strategy and research group at Cendant Corporation, where he assisted in the development of marketing strategies for over 30 brands, including Orbitz, Cheaptickets, Century 21, and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. O'Reilly continued with Wyndham Worldwide brands where he dually held roles as vice president, global insights and acting managing director of NorthCourse advisory.
O'Reilly is also the primary author of two recently released reports, "Hospitality Brands and Facebook: Identifying the Opportunities" and "Hotels and Twitter: Realizing the Potential," both providing a framework for establishing social media return on investment.
O'Reilly holds a master's in urban planning from New York University and a bachelor of science in urban planning and policy from The University of Massachusetts. He received the Massachusetts State Honors Scholarship full tuition award and Robert F. Wagner Public Service Fellowship.
