Domenic Vivolo Appointed Executive Vice-President, Content Sales, and Distribution Marketing

TORONTO, Jan. 13, 2014 /CNW/ - Kevin Crull, President, Bell Media, announced today the appointment of Domenic Vivolo as Executive Vice-President, Content Sales, and Distribution Marketing. Effective immediately and reporting to Crull, Vivolo will lead Bell Media's content distribution team as it continues to leverage its leading brands to content distributors across the country.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Vivolo has been recognized for his outstanding strategic and creative vision, solid negotiation skills, and remarkable track record, earning him numerous awards of excellence in creative and business achievements.
Vivolo was previously Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Pay TV, where he oversaw the Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, Market Research, Interactive Media, Integrated Marketing Solutions, and Customer Relations departments for The Movie Network, HBO Canada, and Viewers Choice Canada. He joined Bell Media in 2013 as part of the Astral transaction. At Astral, Vivolo was instrumental in the successful re-positioning and re-branding of several networks within Astral Media. He spearheaded the development of TMN GO and was also the principal member of the launch team behind The Movie Network's multiplex channel HBO Canada. Before joining Astral in 2000, Vivolo held key senior positions at SkyDome, Hershey Canada, and Canada Packers Inc.
Vivolo holds an MBA from McMaster University and is a graduate of CTAM's (Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing) Executive Management Program held at Harvard Business School. He has served as a President of CTAM Canada and a Board Member for Promax and BDA, holding the Chair on the International Committee.
