Dome9 Security Joins Amazon Web Services Solution Providers Program to Drive Innovative Cloud Security Services

SAN FRANCISCO, June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dome9 Security™, the only cloud server security service provider delivering multi-platform security management-as-a-service for public and private clouds, as well as for dedicated and Virtual Private Servers (VPS), today from the Amazon Web Security Summit 2011 announced it has joined the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solution Providers Program.

With this membership, Dome9 joins a select group of organizations that deliver leading solutions on the AWS infrastructure platform.  The program is designed to help companies expand the services and support of their solutions to AWS customers.  Joining the program includes a listing on the AWS Solutions Provider Directory, and strongly positions Dome9 for enterprises leveraging Amazon's cloud services.  Dome9's cloud security management-as-a-service platform is currently in beta testing, and is available at http://www.dome9.com/beta.

Dome9 is the first to leverage Amazon's API to centrally manage security groups and firewall configuration of cloud infrastructure.  Unlike other solutions, Dome9 supports all operating systems in Amazon EC2, requires no server agent, and can dynamically apply policy to ensure servers are continuously secure.

With Dome9, AWS customers can centrally manage security policies for Amazon's multiple security groups, cloud servers, or a single server.  Policies are applied dynamically to customers' cloud infrastructure as they add servers and scale, and Dome9's secure access lease technology further enhances security by delivering first-of-its-kind dynamic firewall controls for on-demand access.

"Secure access leases allow administrators to keep all ports, including SSH and Remote Desktop, closed by default, and open them on-demand only when they need, for whom they need, and only as long as they need," said Alon.
