The No Kid Hungry campaign is ending childhood hunger in the U.S. by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. The money raised benefits the No Kid Hungry campaign and its work connecting kids at risk of hunger with nutritious food and teaching their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.
BBRG's new promotions/features to support No Kid Hungry in 2015 are:
"Guests Donating to Make a Difference" Promotion
Again in 2015, BRAVO! and BRIO will present its "Guests Donating to Make a Difference" promotion. From Sept. 1–27, when BRAVO! and BRIO guests donate $5 or more to the No Kid Hungry campaign, they will receive $5 off their next visit of $15 or more, valid thru Oct. 31, 2015. It's easy to donate, as guests will be able to add their donation to their bill upon checkout.
"What Family Meal Time Means to Me" Coloring Contest for Kids
From Sept. 1–20, all children aged 12 and younger dining at BRAVO! and BRIO will receive a coloring sheet with their Kid's Menu. Kids can use their imaginations to create artwork about "What Family Meal Time Means to Me," and turn it in at the restaurant or mail it to BBRG. Four winners will be selected and their drawings, along with the No Kid Hungry logo, will be published on the upcoming fourth quarter Kid's Menus. Also on the menus, BRAVO! and BRIO will promote that BBRG provided meals with the kids' support. Each winner will also receive a kids' pizza/pasta party for 12. Winners will be announced Oct. 15. Entries must be submitted by Sept. 20. Open to children 12 years old and younger.
MyBRIO and MyBRAVO "Giving Can Be So Rewarding" Donations
BBRG will donate $1 to No Kid Hungry for each person who signs up for BRIO's and/or BRAVO!'s rewards programs (MyBRIO Rewards and MyBRAVO Rewards) from Sept. 7–27. BBRG will donate up to $5,000 for each BRIO and BRAVO!. To sign up for the rewards programs, download the app "MyBravo" and/or "MyBrio" in the App store or the Google Play store, or pick up a card at a restaurant and then register online at www.MyBravoreward.com or www.MyBrioReward.com.

"At BBRG and every BRAVO! and BRIO restaurant across the nation, one of our greatest priorities is giving back to important causes," said BBRG President & Chief Operating Officer Brian O'Malley. "We are pleased to once again partner with Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign, offering new promotions to support the cause, and to assist in the effort to end childhood hunger.
"In 2014, BBRG restaurants collected enough donations, from both online and in-store promotions, to help connect children in need across the country to 1.5 million meals*," he continued. "In 2015, our goal is to connect children in need across the county to more than 2 million meals."
"Everyone – private citizens, businesses, policymakers, and nonprofits – has a role in helping end childhood hunger in America," said Billy Shore, founder and CEO of Share Our Strength. "I encourage everyone to dine out often at participating restaurants wherever they are this September. Then visit NoKidHungry.org to join this national movement to ensure that every child in America has access to the nutritious food they need, every day."
*This amount was determined on the basis that $1 can help connect a child with up to 10 nutritious meals, which is, in turn, based on the individual experiences of Share Our Strength's grant recipients. It is provided to illustrate how community investments can be used to help end childhood hunger. Each contribution made to Share Our Strength represents a contribution to its original mission. Donations will be used to reach the highest number of children facing hunger in America. Share Our Strength is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
