Digital Caddies, Inc. Signs Agreement to Extend Services With the Tuscany Golf Club in Las Vegas
Tuscany Golf Club To Launch Company's New Wireless Tablet Service In Early 2013
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Caddies, Inc. (OTCPK: CADY) is pleased to announce that they have signed an agreement to extend its services with the Tuscany Golf Club located in Henderson, Nevada.
The Agreement calls for an extension of services that Digital Caddies has been providing over the last several years in addition to installing their new state-of-the-art wireless tablet service which is expected to launch in early 2013. The Tuscany Golf Club is a beautifully balanced course that maximizes the natural beauty of the southern Nevada mountains with spectacular views of the Las Vegas skyline. The golf course has been designed in the true tradition of the renowned architect Ted Robinson, offering a distinctive theme with a philosophy centering on flexibility, memorability and natural beauty.
As previously reported, with approximately 20,000 golf courses in North America and over 30,000 worldwide, Digital Caddies has positioned the company to be first to market with its new tablet based GPS service. The new service will provide rich streaming content and real time distance information to the golfer while also providing valuable information and services to the golf course. Digital Caddies' newest service will also incorporate the ability to communicate with others on the course, post to social media outlets, create dynamic leaderboards for scoring, call the beverage cart, interact with the golf course officials and much more.
Golf courses will also see many incredible benefits by being able to monitor the location of all golf carts on the course and having the ability to communicate with golfers directly will allow for better control and significant improvement in the pace of play. This ability for a golf course to influence the pace of play through the tablet and other key features will be an invaluable tool towards increasing the profitability of a course.
Brad Nightingale, Digital Caddies CEO, stated, "In addition to the recent extension of services with the Tuscany Golf Club, we are extremely pleased to have them on board as one of the first golf courses in the U.S. to agree to implement our latest wireless tablet technology when it launches in early 2013."
