Dick Gephardt, Mel Martinez and Terry McAuliffe Join Wellness Real Estate™ Innovator
NEW YORK, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Delos Living, the pioneering developer of healthy-living real estate, is pleased to announce the formation of its Advisory Board and to welcome former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt, former Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States Senator Mel Martinez and former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Terry McAuliffe.
Wellness Real Estate™ incorporates scientifically-backed health and wellness features into environmentally sound living spaces that are good for both the homeowner and the environment. Delos Living integrates the best of medical science and preventative health care to create homes that not only protect against ecological degradation, but support the physical and emotional well being of individuals.
"We are tremendously honored to have assembled such a distinguished team whose combined experience and expertise will help guide Delos as we continue to expand and introduce the concept of Wellness Real Estate™ into people's everyday lives," said Delos Co-Founder Morad Fareed.
"Delos Living illustrates how we can encourage a healthier lifestyle by what we put into our homes," said Mel Martinez, who is also a former U.S. Senator from Florida. "By utilizing medically proven features, many of which are simple and inexpensive and incorporating them into our homes, Delos can be at the forefront of a resurging housing market."
"The research aspect is very important," added Dick Gephardt. "Delos Living and its work with a team of experts from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons provide real information to people that is both credible and effective. People are more concerned about their health than anything else in their lives and by demonstrating how housing can be an integral part of a healthier lifestyle, Delos is a homerun."
Entrepreneur and environmental advocate Terry McAuliffe is also an enthusiastic supporter of the concept. "Delos Living is exciting because it is at the forefront of a movement not just in the United States, but worldwide. Wellness Real Estate™ is something that will catch on just like the environmental movement has and allow people to see their living space in a whole new way."
