Decisyon Adds Technology Industry Veterans To Executive Team
STAMFORD, Conn., July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Decisyon, Inc., provider of the industry's only unified, collaborative business intelligence (BI) and performance management platform, today announced the addition of Alain Benzaken, Chief Technology Officer of the Americas and Matt Urbancic, Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Solutions to the Decisyon executive team. Today's move further reinforces Decisyon's strategic expansion into the U.S. market.

Benzaken will be leading the technology and services team in the United States. In his career he has been involved in some of the most successful startups on the East Coast. Prior to Decisyon, Benzaken worked as Senior Vice President of Technology at Buddy Media, pre and post their $800M acquisition by Salesforce.com. He was also Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of food52.com, helping to raise their initial angel round. Prior to that he spent five years as Vice President of Technology at TheLadders.com and part of the executive team, helping to lead that company to 100% year-over-year growth. He was one of the first technology hires at Priceline.com and rose to become Vice President of Development there. He is a founding board member of the New York Tech Meetup, and regularly advises New York City startups on technology architecture and teams. Benzaken graduated with a Masters of Science in Physics from Yale University.

Urbancic will lead Strategic Marketing, with a focus on identifying, acquiring, and ultimately driving value creation for Decisyon's customers. Prior to joining Decisyon, he spent 15 years at Dell, Inc. where he served in several executive roles in both Consumer and Commercial marketing. As a product marketer, Urbancic's experience is deep in both strategic and growth categories, having led efforts for Dell's notebook, printing, and software & accessories lines of business. And his digital marketing experience is just as rich, having spent many years in Dell's Global Online organization where his team developed and implemented new online capabilities to enhance Dell's commercial customers' experience. Urbancic holds a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgia Tech.
