NEW YORK, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- David Sanford, Chairman of Sanford Heisler Kimpel LLP, was inducted into The National Law Journal's (NLJ) Elite Trial Lawyers Hall of Fame, one of only five attorneys in the United States distinguished with this honor. The awards ceremony was held last night at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Nicole Lapin, former anchor with CNN and CNBC, and Beth Frerking, Editor in Chief of the National Law Journal & Legal Times, served as Masters of Ceremonies for the evening.
"I am honored to be considered a part of this great group of trial attorneys," said Mr. Sanford. "And I am proud of the work Sanford Heisler Kimpel does to protect the rights of workers, attorneys and executives."

After a seven-week trial, Mr. Sanford secured the largest employment verdict ($253 million) in United States history. He obtained a court-approved class settlement that the judge described as "extraordinary" and "one of a kind."

He has represented CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and other executives as well as non-managerial, hourly employees throughout the United States.
