Lamos brings more than 15 years of technology and sales expertise to Knotice. A highly regarded industry veteran, Lamos has served in executive positions at several notable companies, including Responsys, Experian, Connection Engine, and most recently FICO.
In his new role at Knotice, Lamos enhances an already strong organization – one that will continue to educate and support marketers with the right tools to do more with their data. After previewing the speed and simplicity of the company's recent release, Knotice 5, he was hooked. He knew he wanted to be part of both the company and the impact it would have on the industry.
"Once I saw the new release, I understood what the continual buzz was about – the technology is revolutionary," recalls Lamos. "We're at the point now where Knotice can be a significant part of this market. When I look at all the other data management platforms (DMPs), some are great companies, but they're all going in different directions. They're not focused on the marketer's real needs or the marketer's point of view. Knotice has a huge leg up. I'm excited to be a part of it."
In addition to the technology, Lamos was impressed by the level of service and support offered by the Knotice team. He said the culture of authenticity at Knotice and the emphasis on customer service stands out among the competitive class.
"I've known Nathan for a long time," says Brian Deagan, CEO and president of Knotice. "He brings the right balance of industry expertise and growth experience to help us get the most from our sharp growth trajectory. Plus, he's a great fit. I'm happy to have him on board."
Adding to Lamos' enthusiasm are specific trends he sees in marketplace, particularly the way brands will connect with customers moving forward.
"What the industry calls a DMP today will be completely different several years from now," Lamos explains. "It will be in real time, with a stronger ability to anticipate the needs of consumers as they surf and engage online, to serve them better. Understanding and targeting of anonymous consumers is going to be more effective. As this shift happens, the DMP is the first technology toward a meaningful connection throughout the customer lifecycle. Today with their emphasis on both anonymous and known consumers, only Knotice comes close."
The announcement of Lamos joining Knotice comes on the heels of the company being recognized as a strong performer in "The Forrester Wave™: Data Management Platforms, Q3 2013," which evaluated the most recent release of the company's DMP, Knotice 5.
