Dance Recording Artist Loses Face in the Middle of His New Single's Campaign
NEW YORK, Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The singer NOAH, drops his image from his new single's art work and takes a fresh approach to his "Keep On Movin'" campaign. The song's genesis was 'inspired by his own personal experience,' he reveals, however asserts that 'everyone has their own story and relationship to the message.' "We all have our own things which we seek to transcend and move on from. The cover art needs to inspire this," he explains. As well, in light of the shift, NOAH conveys, "I was going for pop and pop is almost out of fashion...even Katy Perry has recently mused about her possible return to her roots in folk music. Times are changing and people are seeking substance over extravagant theatrics."

The singer's first two singles 'New York is Dead" and "No More Angels" were both written and produced with the intention of catapulting the singer to pop status, yet despite successful club chart positions in both the US and the UK, the singer found himself at a impasse in an ever changing industry. "I have to keep my focus on the music," he says, "it's too much work trying to live up to pop acts who, for so many years, have evolved with the support of major labels. We have to get smart, stylish and savvy all on our own. I'm like a fire in the desert..."
The speedy follow up of NOAH's "Keep On Movin'" release came under the advice of Hollywood promoter Bob Kechter of Next Music. The singer approached Next Music after a small scandal involving the promotion of his "No More Angels" single. "I had no idea the song was going to be a self fulfilling prophecy," NOAH admits. Next Music, as consultant to the artist, has assisted in remix A&R and co-managing the "Keep On Movin'" project, with the intent of achieving Billboard recognition and a successful rebranding of the artist as a serious dance act.
The single has garnered international tastemaker support and is celebrating international radio play in both the US and across Europe. "Keep On Movin'" was recently, UK Celebrity Radio Presenter, Ant Nichol's "Floor Filler of the Week" on his live UK National Radio show. With airplay in the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Russia and Brazil, the singer is hoping to "Keep On Movin'" and make a name for himself abroad.
"Keep On Movin'," to be released in three volumes, hosts a selection of remixes by Grammy nominated and Billboard Charting remixers in addition to remixes by a cast of international producers on the rise. The release is scheduled for a Beatport Exclusive beginning December 16th with a worldwide release on January 13th, 2014.
