Dainese Announces New Chicago Store Location and Grand Re-Opening
Leader in Protective Moto Wear Celebrates New Chicago Concept Store with Events on Saturday, March 3, 2018
CHICAGO, Feb. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Dainese (www.dainese.com), the world leader of protective wear for moto and other dynamic sports, today announced the grand re-opening of its new Midwestern flagship retail location in Old Town Chicago.
The design of the Dainese Store Chicago is a minimalist approach that features raw materials, and the "room in a room" concept becomes the focus of attention for special projects and storytelling. The brand's fully redesigned retail concept, developed for Dainese by architect Renato Montagner, speaks to all riding styles: racing, street, touring, urban and lifestyle. The Dainese Store Chicago is the fourth location worldwide that has received the vibrant new renovation, offering customers a full immersion in the rich heritage of the Dainese and AGV brands.
In addition to offering the wide product lines of Dainese and AGV, the concept store showcases signed memorabilia from Valentino Rossi and Marco Simoncelli, along with a unique wall display of the suit worn by Moto GP Racer, Jack Miller. Other highlights include the store's Custom Works program, offering a made-to-measure experience for riders to design and customize their dream leathers. Dainese Settantadue, a stunning collection of apparel designed in celebration of the brand's 45th Anniversary is currently featured in the room-in-a-room area, and racing suits and jackets with Dainese's integrated D-Air® technology, a proprietary wearable airbag system providing unmatched protection for riders, is on display and available. The Dainese Chicago location also offers free ozone boot, garment, and helmet sanitization for customers, as well as phone orders and free home shipments within the USA.
"We are thrilled to have our Dainese store relocated in Downtown Chicago," said Roberto Sadowsky, Dainese Group Executive Vice President. "This new location will help us better serve the motorcycle community and provide a unique experience for locals and visitors to the Chicago area."
Monthly events and group rides lead by a certified rider coach will be held throughout the year. The store will also be participating in Motoblot, the annual urban motorcycle and hot rod street rally, June 22 - 24, 2018.
The grand reopening festivities will begin at Noon on Saturday, March 3. Famous helmet artist, Dave Walters from Ace Studio, will be painting custom pinstripes on motorcycle helmets and personal items. Hollywood Stuntman, actor, and Dainese fan, Tom McComas, is also set to attend in addition to Instagram celebrity @redspade. During the event customers can expect great motorcycle conversation, raffle prizes totaling over $2,000 MSRP of product, food and drink, and much more.
