AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Sept. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vera Quinn, President of Cydcor, the leading provider of in-person customer acquisition, announced today that their successful fundraising efforts on behalf of Operation Smile will help fund an upcoming medical mission. Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity that provides free life-changing surgeries for children with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.
Cydcor's annual Day of Smiles campaign took place in June, netting more than $75,000 in donations, bringing the company's total donations to nearly $1 Million dollars for Operation Smile. Cydcor has partnered with Operation Smile since 2010.
"The amount of heart and commitment from the Cydcor team and independent sales offices is eclipsed only by the amazing work done by Operation Smile," said Cydcor President, Vera Quinn. "This year's Day of Smiles campaign was a resounding success, with more than a thousand volunteers from Cydcor and sales offices across the country going business-to-business, face-to-face to share the Operation Smile story and ask for a donation. I'm thrilled to say we continue to stand with Operation Smile and the fulfilling work they do," Quinn added.
In early 2017, Cydcor and representatives from the company's network of sales offices will volunteer at their seventh medical mission. These volunteers will assist the children and their families as they receive medical services from Operation Smile. Previously, Cydcor has sponsored Operation Smile medical missions to Brazil, Bolivia, Guatemala and Mexico.
The longstanding relationship between Cydcor and Operation Smile continues to be a great fit. "Cydcor and Operation Smile fit together. We take care of children, people at Cydcor take care of people," shared Kathy Magee, Operation Smile Co-Founder & President.
