Ready Mathematics won a REVERE Award in the Whole Curriculum for Math category.
"It is a great honor for two of our flagship programs to be recognized by this industry-leading awards program," said Rob Waldron, CEO of Curriculum Associates. "Our teams work tirelessly to create products to improve classrooms, and we are particularly proud to see i-Ready honored with the coveted Golden Lamp Award."
Celebrating its 50th program year, the REVERE (Recognizing Valuable Educational Resources) Awards continue to identify outstanding educational products that engage today's teachers and students. The AAP PreK-12 Learning Group produces the prestigious awards program that is unique to the educational industry in recognizing learning resources in all media, for all ages, and in a wide variety of educational subject areas and learning environments.
Built to address the rigor of the new standards, i-Ready helps students make real gains. i-Ready collects a broad spectrum of rich data on student abilities that identifies areas where a student is struggling, measures growth across a student's career, supports teacher-led differentiated instruction, and provides a personalized instructional path within a single online solution.
Also built from scratch by strictly following the Publishers' Criteria for the Common Core State Standards, Ready Mathematics emphasizes conceptual understanding through reasoning, modeling, and discussion that explores the structure of mathematics while also developing students' procedural fluency. The program uses a research-based, proven-effective, gradual-release instructional model that balances conceptual understanding and procedural fluency to build confidence and mastery of the Common Core Math Standards.
