"Keith has been an extremely important part of our team for 14 years helping us grow our platform of high-quality residential communities with his strong skills and experience in finance, land acquisition, and community development," said Andrew Carmody, president of the residential group for Crescent Communities, a real estate investment, development and operating company based in Charlotte, N.C. "Keith will effectively guide us as we grow in these key markets."
Crescent's residential group has significant history with its master planned communities in the Carolinas, developing properties including The Sanctuary and The Point in Charlotte, Springfield in Fort Mill, S.C., and Chapel Cove on Lake Wylie near the border of the North and South Carolina. As vice president, Glenn recently began exploring opportunities in Tennessee, and in his new role will seek to build on that momentum.
"It's an exciting time to be leading initiatives for single-family residential communities in a region that is growing as fast as the Carolinas and Tennessee," Glenn said. "These markets show diverse job growth and demographics that indicate increasing demand for the types of creative master planned communities for which Crescent is known."
Glenn has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and real estate industries, beginning his career at First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo) before joining national accounting firm Arthur Andersen. Glenn started with Crescent in 1999 and has held roles as residential controller, director of residential planning and analysis, and project development manager. He graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in financial management.
