CR Magazine Names Weber Shandwick Top Corporate Responsibility Advisory Firm in Communications & Advertising
NEW YORK, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Weber Shandwick, the world's leading global public relations agency, was named the top corporate responsibility advisory firm by CR Magazine, a magazine for Corporate Responsibility Officers (CROs). The ranking is based on data and feedback from CROs and clients responsible for corporate responsibility.
More than 10 firms were scored using a survey distributed to clients and other executives. The goal was to find the best firm based on quality of service and breadth of offering. Weber Shandwick received the highest scores on every dimension.
"We appreciate the confidence our corporate responsibility clients place in us. Our practice continues to grow as more companies and CROs seek to explain the role their businesses play in improving society," said Harris Diamond, CEO, Weber Shandwick. "We are proud of our staff and ability to meet our clients' needs."
According to CR Magazine, the ranking of firms is provided as a service to CROs who select public relations, communications and advertising partners. The feature article states: "Being a good citizen is paramount, but to maximize the benefit of good citizenship you need to communicate with customers, shareholders, and employees."
This award continues to build on Weber Shandwick's remarkable global award success, which includes the PRWeek Global Agency Report Card gold medal, Advertising Age's Agency of the Decade, being named "International Consultancy of the Year" at both the PRWeek Awards and the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Awards, "Agency of the Year" at the European Excellence Awards, and receiving an inaugural Cannes Lion award.
