CPM Introduces the Next Generation of CRM for Population Health
MADISON, Wis., Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CPM, a growth and business development partner for healthcare organizations, today announced the next generation of its CRM system, optimized for population health management. The new enhancements feature integration of quality metrics, allowing hospitals to identify and act on opportunities to improve the health of their communities.
"With healthcare reform, Medicare reimbursements will be directly linked to better quality and lower costs. Our clients need a solution that allows them to easily manage the health of their population and report results," said John Hallick, CEO & President of CPM. "Our interface makes it easy to define a population, understand its health needs and then develop and execute strategies to change health behaviors."
CPM's Population Health Enhancements include:
- Tools for quality improvement and reporting. CPM's CRM system now includes HEDIS and PQRS quality measures approved by the National Center for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). These measures define quality of care for patients with certain conditions. Users can segment their patient population by measure and then further segment by compliant or non-compliant patients. Using quality measures can improve patient outcomes, assist patients in assessing quality of care and drive payments and bonuses by private and public payors.
- Advanced targeting for population health management. Users may now segment their database by many advanced filters, including demography, encounters with the health system, previous communications, geography and CPM's proprietary predictive models. Mailing lists may then be pulled for targeted communications to subpopulations.
- Improved performance metrics and reporting. Users can compare their healthcare organization's quality scores to national benchmarks and export reports directly from the system into a shareable format.
"Healthcare organizations face a changing industry; new complexities are introduced everyday," said Hallick. "With this next generation of CRM, we're making it easy for them to not only access the right analytics, but use them in meaningful ways to manage their population's health."
