Cox Media Group Unifies Digital and Strategy Teams, Promotes Gregg Lindahl to Senior Vice President
ATLANTA, Feb. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Media Group (CMG) is combing its CMGdigital unit and its Corporate Business Strategy group to form a unified Digital and Strategy team. CMG Vice President, Digital, Gregg Lindahl will lead this new team and has been promoted to CMG Senior Vice President of Digital and Strategy.
In this new role, Lindahl will work closely with CMG's Group Vice Presidents, General Managers and Publishers to provide strategic initiative leadership, coordination and solutions for CMG's existing portfolio. He will also continue to work on developing digital media businesses that leverage CMG core brands and new, transformative ones to keep pace with a rapidly evolving media landscape. Lindahl will report to CMG Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Neil Johnston.

Before becoming CMG VP, Digital, Gregg Lindahl served as Cox Radio's Vice President for Interactive and New Technologies, and served as President and COO of two Cox Enterprises division ventures in the interactive and the consumer market research space. He led Cox Radio to become the first radio company to stream all of its stations and display meta-data from the broadcast on its web sites, mobile sites and radio displays. Recently, he authored and executed the business plan to bring seven disparate digital initiatives together to produce a revolutionary media content management and distribution system, which is making its debut in 2011.
