Cox Business Brand Campaign Features Sam Neill, Highlights Healthcare, Education Technology
Ads emphasize business telecom provider's ability to serve complex needs of larger organizations
ATLANTA, May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cox Communications continues to use acclaimed actor Sam Neill in its new brand campaign for Cox Business. The campaign features two ads, one set at a university campus and the other at a regional hospital, reinforcing Cox Business' ability to meet the complex and specialized needs of larger organizations within technology advanced industries.
In 2011, Sam Neill was first used in the campaign entitled "Landmarks," which featured iconic U.S. locations meant to reinforce the strength, flexibility and reliability of Cox Business, Cox Communications' $1 billion division that provides telecommunications services for more than 275,000 business customers.
The first of the two new TV ads features Neill on a college campus, where he narrates from areas such as the campus quad and the football stadium's press box. The ad focuses on the students' use of technology in several different locations on campus, including the dorms, athletic facilities and classrooms. Cox Business serves a high percentage of K-12 schools and universities within its network reach, where it is able to use technology to help enhance education both inside and outside of the classroom.
The second TV spot places Neill at a local hospital, where he demonstrates the wide variety of clinical and administrative functions that Cox's cable network makes possible in a health care environment. He narrates from locations throughout the hospital such as operating rooms, the lobby and patient rooms. Health care organizations rely on Cox Business to support high resolution imaging and real-time remote diagnosis, electronic medical records management, critical voice communications and in-patient video services.
The campaign promotes Cox Business' capabilities as a partner that is uniquely matched to support these large, densely populated local businesses and reinforces its dedication as a trusted telecommunications provider to customers in a variety of industries. These ads begin airing this month in Cox markets and include print and online assets.
"Cox Business addresses diverse communications needs for some of the most technically complex organizations within the most innovative industries in the country," said Ken Kraft, vice president, Cox Business marketing. "We have the local network and support staff in place to effectively deliver against our competition. The new ads visually demonstrate the depth and breadth of integration between Cox and large organizations within the markets we serve."
