Costume-Making Storyteller Takes Country's Most Creative Kid Title in CSNStores.com's National Search
Leading Home e-Retailer Found 4-Year-Old Winner Among Nearly 600 Entries In Contest Spanning Nine Months
BOSTON, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, CSN Stores (www.csnstores.com), the third-largest online retailer of home goods in the U.S., awarded the winners of CSN Stores' Imagination Nation Contest. Jack Gosselin, 4, of Vienna, Ohio, started bouncing up and down on a mini-trampoline when he found out that he was named the country's most creative kid.

Jack was one of nearly 600 kids vying for the title and the grand prize, which includes one year's worth of free toys from ToysandGamesOnline.com, as well as Lea Industries' Deer Run Loft Bedroom Set from BedroomFurniture.com, and Atmosphere's Classic A4 Globe from CSNStores.com. Jack's total prize package is valued at $4,500.
Scott Gosselin, Jack's father, noted his son's "uncanny ability to combine stories he has heard to weave tales that defy science and the laws of nature, yet somehow seem possible" in the winning entry. Gosselin went on to say that Jack brings these stories to life with costumes he assembles from random outfits found at garage sales and second-hand stores.
"This timing was so perfect because Jack is four now and still sleeps in his tiny toddler bed right next to our bed," added Gosselin. "We have been trying to figure out how we could afford to buy him a bigger bed and feel so blessed that this worked out as it did."
While one grand prize winner was selected, the CSN Stores also awarded second and third place prizes, as well as a Facebook winner. Additionally, CSN Stores gave each contest entrant a 10 percent off coupon to be used for its 1.5 million+ home essentials.
Six-year-old Chase Marshall of Argonne, WI, was awarded second place for his ambitious and creative invention ideas. His prize package includes a Kids' Art Corner from ALEX Toys and a Little Tikes Racecar Bed.
"One of my favorite inventions was a rocket that will fly [Chase] to Europa, one of Jupiter's moons," Chase's mother, Rebecca Marshall, said. "When he arrives, he will use another invention to melt through the icy surface of Europa in hopes of discovering an ocean under the ice that has life in it."
Third place was awarded to Ashley Jannatpour of Henderson, NV, whose creativity was showcased in combination with her love for animals (and dressing them up).
"My daughter, Ashley loves guinea pigs," said Barbara Jannatpour. "One Halloween she carved out a pumpkin and turned it into a carriage along with four plastic horses, driving the Cinderella princess 'Ginger' to the ball."
Ashley will receive the Kids' Theatre/Imagination Corner from Melissa & Doug, including a Deluxe Puppet Theatre and Select Puppets.
Finally, CSN Stores' Facebook Winner, Daniel Lusted of Mooresville, NC, received $100 worth of free toys and games for his entry, a creative train made of common household items.
While the Imagination Nation contest is coming to a close, there are four CSN contests that consumers can still enter. These include:
