WASHINGTON, July 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "We are urging an employee of a company providing any imaginable type of service to the US Department of Defense to call us anytime at 866-714-6466 about potential rewards if their employer is ripping off or gouging the DoD on contracts involving food, transportation, fuel, housing, building or for equipment that does not work. Recently a whistleblower received a $38-million-dollar reward for this exact type of information. Whistleblower rewards involving defense contractors or companies providing services to the Defense Department have the potential of being extremely significant as we would like to discuss, provided the whistleblower can prove the wrongdoing-and the wrongdoing is obvious." http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com
In May of 2017 the Department of Justice announced a $95-million-dollar settlement with a company providing services to the DoD. The United States alleged that a defense contractor knowingly overcharged the Department of Defense for food services. As mentioned in this instance the whistleblower received $38 million dollars for their information.
The Corporate Whistleblower Center is especially interested in hearing from an employee or insider who has proof a company providing services to the US Department of Defense is involved in the following types of schemes to overbill or defraud the DoD:
- A transportation or logistics company that is overbilling or up-charging the DoD for services never rendered and or failing to report damaged or stolen equipment in Afghanistan, Iraq, Korea, Syria, Qatar, Kuwait or in Africa.
- A food or fuel services provider that is gouging the Department of Defense anywhere in the world on contracts by supplying food or fuel at greatly inflated prices or that is substandard.
- An aerospace or shipbuilding contractor that is building aircraft or ships that do not meet the specifications of the contract and the contractor is not being forthcoming to the DoD about the problems with the ships or planes.
- A building contractor supplying construction services to the Department of Defense in the United States or anywhere in the world that is working outside of the scope of their contract and not building a structure or structures that meet the specifications of the contract.
According to the Corporate Whistleblower Center, "If an employee of a company has this type of information regarding their employer gouging or defrauding the Department of Defense please call us anytime at 866-714-6466. Provided you can prove it-the reward potential for this type of information can be in the millions of dollars as we would like to discuss. Why sit on a potentially winning lotto ticket without ever knowing what it might have been worth?" http://CorporateWhistleblower.Com

Simple rules for a whistleblower from the Corporate Whistleblower Center: Do not go to the government first if you want to become a whistleblower: The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "Major whistleblowers frequently go to the government thinking they will help. It's a huge mistake. Do not go to the news media with your whistleblower information either. Any type of public revelation of a whistleblower's information could destroy the prospect for a reward. Do not try to force a government contractor or individual to come clean about overbilling the federal government out of millions of dollars or failing to abide by the terms of contract with the federal government."
