New Collaboration Aims to Raise Awareness About Childhood Obesity
NEW YORK, Oct. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of Food Day, Cooking Light, the nation's number one epicurean brand and FoodCorps, a new national service organization dedicated to addressing childhood obesity, announced today a new relationship to help promote a healthier generation of kids. Cooking Light and FoodCorps will reach out to the public across myriad platforms, including events, conferences, magazine editorial, digital and books, with the overarching goal of generating support and awareness about healthy eating that will benefit America's children and their families.
"Cooking Light's 25th anniversary plans for 2012 included an important alliance with a nonprofit organization which shares our focus on health and concern about food education," said Diane Oshin, Group Publisher, Cooking Light.
